This website increased my knowledge on Harriet Tubman. Having studied African American history I already know information about her general life and abolitionist activities but there was some stuff I did not know. For instance, there was a part in the website that discussed how Tubman's capture would have brought 40,000 to the South and when two men were reading her wanted poster it said she was illiterate. So to not get caught she pulled out a book and started reading. It fooled the men. This is a credible website.

I felt like this site was credible because it was made by pbs. Not only was the information accurate and trustworthy but it also provided a summary of the period which allowed you to understand what happened and what made it so important.
