The author has appeared to do her research in shedding new light on Jefferson’s biography.

This book is mostly about Thomas Jefferson when he was running for President against John Adams. Federalists first believed that if Jefferson were to be elected, the country's entire government would fail. They feared him and thought he was a very radical thinker, seeing Jefferson as an anti-religion atheist who polluted peoples' thinking. Although the MSN Encarta isn’t necessarily scholarly, I found this information to be very helpful in learning about who Thomas Jefferson was. It listed important facts about his life, his family and also his career, which helped to get a very well rounded view of who he was.

Having researched Thomas Jefferson as one of my own authors this is clearly a very credible resource providing over 12 pages of information on the life of thomas jefferson and describing what his life and writings were like. This resource better helps me understand his life and works. He is famous for authoring the declaration of independence. It betters helps me understand the thought o the age of enlightenment.
